What An Afternoon

Howdy Surfriders, Hope you got out to enjoy the weather and fun surf. Surfed the Poo Pipe for over and hour by myself before Hunter came out. Super fun little peelers with tons of sun and 73 degrees . I surfed till dark , here's a couple of shots of Hunter and some of the afternoon conditions. Friday ? Peace Out , Zog

Smooth and Fun

Just had fun 3 hour session with Melissa and Trey . Thigh to stomach and super smooth. Board worked great, but already to make some refinements to my next effort. Hoping for some more rideable surf tomorrow and Friday, Keep your fingers crossed , Zog

Great Sesh

Yo Surfriders , Had a great session on the new board this morning , 2.5 hours of fun stomach

high peelers with some good wind a no one out .Board worked great , a lot looser that I thought it would be. They're right , riding your own creation is pure stoke. Here is a picture of Tomo with one of his new creations. Interesting how many different board sports his craft has taken influence from . Even the King Kelly Slater has a lot of interest in Tomo's ideas. Anything Goes , Carve Hard, Zog

It Works

Went out in some super weak knee to thigh micro peelers at Pelican Watch with Danial. The new creation was easy to get going in the dribble and super loose .Great wave catcher and wants to pump on down the line. Can't wait for some push, Holy crap it's cold today, Zog

Leftovers Tailpad

Had some leftover deck pad from my PSH . Had just enough to fashion a little tailpad for my new stick. Now we just need some surf . Added bonus didn't have to buy some overpriced pad with stupid corporate logo / $ sign on it. Stick it to the man !!! Zog

Enter the Superstar

Happy New Year Surfriders , She's done. From raw blank to finished board , The Short Bus Superstar is back at the house . Feels pretty bringing the first board I 've ever designed , shaped, and painted home . A big thanx to Dimitri Talbert for his shaping cave and advise , and Jimmy Keith for the killer glass job and pinline. As before no CAD design , CNC machining , went old school with planer , shading blocks , tons of measuring and tried to to get her as symmetrical as possible with my old blurry eyes. Can't wait to see how she rides . Pray for Surf , Zog

New Project

Season Greeting Surfriders , Here's a glimpse of my newest project , The Short Bus Superstar . Probably should have taken a few pix earlier , but not much interested in talking about it , wanna shape. Started with Marko 7'4" EPS Halibut blank a carving a 5 something performance planing hull. I'm getting ready to start the tail and finish her out in the pix. She is done and has gone to the glasser. No CAD template, CNC cutting, or fancy tools , trying to develop the eye and learn the art and skills of shaping. Should be able to show you the finished product soon. Merry X-Mas , Zog
